This coin is an uncommonly well preserved representative of the first-year Indian Head issue. Rich orange-gold color envelops fully lustrous, satiny surfaces. Both the obverse and reverse are largely smooth enough to warrant consideration at an even higher grade level, but we do mention a small spot in the field before Liberty's mouth. A very attractive coin, nonetheless, with very sharp, well above average definition for the type, especially throughout the border stars.
