It dates back to the period between 1355 and 1383, during the reign of Jeanne & Wenceslas. The coin has been graded by NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) as MS 64+, indicating that it is in uncirculated condition with very high quality and few marks or abrasions.

The obverse of the coin features a half-length figure of St. Peter facing with a key in his left hand and a book in his right, above quartered arms of Limburg, Brabant, and Luxembourg, all within a tressure of arches with lis on the cusps and trefoils in the spandrel. The Latin legend surrounding this design translates to "Wenceslas and Joanna, by the grace of God, Dukes of Brabant"

The reverse shows an ornate cross fleurée with a rosette in the center, surrounded by a Latin legend and beaded borders, which translates to "Christ conquers, Christ reigns, Christ commands
