$24,000.00 USD
The 1796 dime holds particular historic relevance as it was among the first dimes ever produced by the United States Mint. This design replaced the earlier Small Eagle design and was minted until 1807.
The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Lady Liberty with flowing hair, facing right. The word "LIBERTY" appears above her head, and the date below.
The reverse showcases an eagle with outstretched wings, standing on a cloud. Around the eagle, the inscription reads "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."
