On the obverse is the head of Nicholas II facing left. The inscription reads Б.М.НИКОЛАЙ II ИМПЕРАТОРЪ И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОСС, which translates to “By God's grace Nicholas II. Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia”.

On the reverse is a crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. The lettering reads 50 КОПѢЕКЪ 1913Г, which translates to 50 Kopecks 1913 year.
