1868 1C Cent Judd-608 Pollock-673 R.4 PCGS PR66 Deep Cameo

$6,200.00 USD

CAC. The design closely resembles the contemporary three cent nickel, but the diameter is smaller, a Roman Numeral I represents the denomination within the wreath, and the ribbon ends are more prominent. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. This is the Pollock Variety 2 with the 1 in the date centered over a dentil. The mirrored fields are extraordinarily deep and provide a strong background for contrast against the thickly frosted devices. A simply gorgeous piece that is almost impossible to improve on with this look and feel. Very RARE!
