Though dated 1847, this piece was produced in 1870 as a jubilee and academic prize medal, combining numismatic artistry with civic and educational commemoration. Its unusually high relief, precision strike, and mirrored fields indicate it was specifically intended as a proof presentation, not a circulation coin.

Obverse: Features a finely engraved, right-facing bust of Friedrich August II, surrounded by the legend:
“FRIEDRICH AUGUST K. Graded NGC PF62 Cameo, it exhibits full detail with only minimal hairlines or faint handling marks, and stands as the Finest Known in the grading census — a notable distinction given the tiny mintage and specialized purpose of this issue.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1602/9059/files/4463272-004_8272999b-9daf-4cfe-83b5-082b0bd5ceaa.jpg?v=1691677697
