Mr. Briggs is Hard Asset Management’s founder and CEO. He brings over 30 years of precious metals and rare coin industry experience to the firm. Mr. Briggs has bought and sold some of the world’s rarest and mostcollected and invested coins, includingseveral U.S. rarities highlighted in the book,"100 Greatest U.S. Coins.” These transactions included highly coveted and sought-after rare coins, such as the 1804 Draped Bust Dollar Heraldic Eagle PR 68 (worth $8.5M), the 1907 Saint Gauden’s $20 Double Eagle PR 69 (valued at $2.7M), the 1894-S Barber Dime PR66 (current value $1.9M), and the 1801 Draped Bust Dollar Heraldic Eagle PR63 (worth $1.25M). In addition, he’s sold more than $500 million in rare coins and precious metals over the course of his career. Mr. Briggs understands the economics, demographics, market conditions, and macro and geopolitical trends to determine the optimal times to buy and sell select U.S. and world rarities. Mr. Briggs also holds a number of patents related to interactive video cue point delivery systems.
Leslie Ball serves as a member of our board of directors. Mr. Ball has served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cinsay, Inc. since 2009. Before that, Mr. Ball was the Chief Executive Officer and president of Corral West Ranchwear. Under his guidance, the company became one of the largest retailers of western and workware and grew to 140 locations in the United States. At Montgomery Ward Corporation, Mr. Ball was President of Softgoods and Foreign Offices as well as Executive Vice President, where he headed its apparel business. His retail experience also encompasses another 22 years in various executive roles at R.H. Macy, Inc., including President of Macy's East, President of Macy's Wholesale, President of Macy's South, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Macy's Midwest. Mr. Ball attended the Detroit Institute of Technology.
Mr. Gingerich has 25 years of experience in private industry accounting. He has served as Chief Financial Officer of small and midsize companies in the restaurant operations, real estate and wholesale industries. Mr. Gingerich is a Certified Public Accountant with memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Gingerich graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.

Mr. White has worked in the rare coin and precious metals industry for more than 15 years. He has procured some of the rarest coins in the world for many affluent collectors and investors. He works directly with Mr. Briggs and Hard Asset Management’s research team to seek undervalued opportunities in U.S. world coins and determine if they are suitable for our clients. The team is flexible and proactive in its buy and sell recommendations, while accounting for critical factors that could impact those decisions and our ability to deliver top value and return on investment for our clients.
